The MVPGR Science Symposium and 10th Anniversary was held on April 12th, 2024
The event honored the past, present, and future of the UC Merced Vernal Pools and Grassland Reserve (MVPGR) and vernal pools and grassland research, education, and stewardship (see flyer below). The symposium featured insightful talks about research, including talks on vernal pool flora and fauna as well as restoration and management, anniversary reflections, and dynamic discussions all honoring the past and future of the reserve. There was also a poster session and reception afterwards in collaboration with UC Merced’s Secure Water Future (SWF).
